now, Women = $\frac{2 x}{3}$ , Men = 1 - $\frac{2 x}{3}$ = $\frac{x}{3}$

Married Men = $\frac{1}{4} \times \frac{x}{3}$ = $\frac{x}{12}$

Bachelors = $\frac{x}{3}$ - $\frac{x}{12}$ = $\frac{x}{4}$

According to question, $\frac{x}{4}$ = 9

X= 36

Total members of the committee = 36 (Ans)
